Position will require travel (expenses paid) to TNSTRONG Summit which happens once per year and will include some working hours outside of the traditional 8-4:30 time frame.
Position is hybrid. Tennessee residents preferred.
Job Description:
The Tennessee Department of Health is currently seeking a Communication Specialist for the Tobacco Prevention & Control, Tennessee Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Education and Support (TCAPES), and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Surveillance programs. This role will lead content creation and community engagement initiatives and drive impactful communication plans aligned with program goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and skilled in dynamic communication.
