Position Summary:

The Committee Coordinator/Member will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs. Working closely with program managers, volunteers, and stakeholders, this role is critical for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including setting timelines, defining deliverables, and coordinating resources.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, community partners, and beneficiaries, ensuring alignment and timely updates.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as status reports, meeting minutes, and evaluation reports. Ensure compliance with funders' requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers involved in project activities.
  • Help plan and organize project-related events, such as workshops, conferences, or community outreach events.
  • Identify potential risks to project timelines and outcomes, and propose solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of tools to measure project impact and outcomes.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to project teams, including scheduling meetings, managing communication, and handling logistics.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Budget tracking and financial management experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders.
