Position: Revenue Operations Analyst

Reports To: VP, Revenue Operations

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Overview

The Revenue Operations Analyst will play a critical role in shaping Reveal's Go-to-Market strategy through data analysis and actionable insights. This individual will partner with Go to Market leadership to uncover growth opportunities, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen data integrity, and influence strategic decisions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. Success in this role requires analytical rigor, business curiosity, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations. This person must be comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying trends others miss, and translating data into actionable recommendations that improve revenue performance.

Responsibilities & Duties

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Analyze pipeline movement, forecasting accuracy, churn, pricing, customer behavior, and sales productivity to uncover actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking pipeline activity, conversion rates, account growth, revenue performance, and commissions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on revenue performance changes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Report and analyze sales and marketing strategies and results; recommend changes to optimize performance to grow the sales funnel and accelerate opportunities to close.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Perform quantitative analysis, including building and organizing large databases; synthesize findings and summarize a broad range of data inputs into frameworks that enable clear communication of data and insights.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team, department, and organizational goals.

Data Auditing & Data Governance:

  • Responsible for data integrity for GTM reporting, including but not limited to Revenue Reporting, Account Performance, Sales Performance, and Commissions. Analyze and audit the data across systems to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Conduct recurring audits of CRM, billing, customer success, and marketing data to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and process gaps.
  • Identify root causes of data quality issues and partner with business stakeholders to implement scalable solutions.
  • Document and standardize reporting definitions to ensure consistency across teams and departments.
  • Work with Revenue Operation peers, finance, sales, and customer success to ensure the data structure and processes support accurate customer and performance reporting.

Operational Support

  • Support territory planning, quota setting, and account segmentation with data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Business Plans.
  • Develop presentations and models for various growth-related scenarios such as sales productivity improvements, customer pricing, channel growth, and contract structures, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline revenue operations processes through automation and improved data workflows.
  • Utilize AI-assisted analytics and automation tools to accelerate data analysis, identify trends, improve reporting efficiency, and increase productivity while maintaining analytical rigor.

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations or similar analytical-based role supporting top line growth
