As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA) you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence.
The assessment process also involves completing a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes.
  • Must demonstrate good clinical reasoning and judgement as it relates to assessing ADL performance, cognition and home safety.
  • Must be comfortable with the use point of care technology when completing assessments.

Qualifications
Current, unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or 2 years nursing experience in an equivalent area of practice serving the older adult population.
• Has, or be willing to obtain, a professional liability insurance policy.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
