Most sales jobs will have you grinding through cold call lists, chasing unresponsive leads, and fighting for scraps of commission. This isn't that.
At Biller Genie, our Sales Development Representatives work exclusively with inbound, partner-referred leads - real business owners who've already raised their hand. Your job is to help them, sell them, and build your own book of business while you're at it. If you're hungry, coachable, and want to sell, we'd like to speak with you!

What You'll Do
You'll learn to sell here - really sell. Discovery, objection handling, closing your own SMB accounts. But the foundation of this role is volume: calling partner-referred leads who've already been introduced to Biller Genie, walking them through account setup, and handing off qualified opportunities to our AE team. It's fast, it's repetitive, and it will sharpen you. The fundamentals you build on those calls are exactly what you'll use when it's your deal to close.
  • Work a high volume of warm, inbound partner-referred leads - business owners who've already been introduced to Biller Genie through their bank or financial institution. No cold calling. Every conversation starts warm.
  • Guide customers through first-time account setup via phone, email, and Zoom - moving quickly, staying organized, and keeping deals from stalling.
  • Qualify opportunities and hand them off to our AE team with clean context and clear next steps. A good handoff is a skill. You'll get good at it.
  • Manage your own schedule and call queue - this role will teach you the discipline that every sales career is built on.
  • Own a dedicated set of SMB accounts where you run the full cycle yourself - discovery, demo, close. About 25% of your generated pipeline is 100% yours to close full-cycle.
  • Learn to ask deep discovery questions, demonstrate features, handle objections, and build trust. Battle-tested playbooks, real coaching, real repetition.
  • Raise the floor for the team around you. Our best reps make everyone better.

The SDR role is where a lot of careers at Biller Genie begin. Our team includes Account Executives, Partner Success Managers, Implementation specialists, and long-tenured Account Managers who all started exactly where you are. We hire for potential and we build from within - but first, you have to earn it.
Who You Are
  • Driven and hungry - you want to win and you're willing to put in the work to figure out how.
  • Coachable. You take feedback well and actually do something with it.
  • Comfortable in a metrics-driven environment - you like knowing exactly where you stand.
  • Tech-savvy with an interest in SaaS or Fintech. You don't need a background in it, but you need to be curious about it.
  • A confident communicator - articulate, professional, and able to hold a real conversation.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in payment processing, accounts receivable, or QuickBooks would be beneficial.
