Coke Florida is looking for a Director, Planning, Commercial Operations to work our of our Tampa HQ location.
What You Will Do:
The Director- Planning, Commercial Operations has a leadership role in the integration of strategy and execution for the field operations in an end to end view to enable optimized internal and external customer service. Functions include Supply, Transportation, Sales/Distribution Route Planning, Equipment Planning and Dispatching.
As a key leader on the Planning, Commercial Operations team, the Director will need to embrace the team's principles of:
  • Manage integrated business processes of planning to effectively deliver desired customer value propositions
  • Enable execution of segmented customer and consumer service models with effective program design
  • Allocate resources to optimize Coke Florida's business outcomes, while managing trade-offs and investment decisions
  • Create "one" consensus forecast, an agreed upon single source of truth to which all are accountable enabled through cross functional team input, technology and business insights
  • Planning, Commercial Operations strives to support Coke Florida in making its next best decision with end to end thinking to deliver disciplined and sustained profitable growth

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with all key commercial and operational leaders on the strategic design of Coke Florida's route to market for the optimal service model
  • Leader of leader role to translate strategy to executional direction to effective supply chain and commercial operations processes that creates accountability based on Coke Florida strategic priorities and initiatives
  • Manage business processes and system enablement to allow for effective and efficient demand forecast processes that feed into supply network planning to enable Coke Florida to maximize growth with produced & purchased products
  • Enables integration points that will allow Coke Florida to support a collaborative operating model at the right cost and service segmentation. Proactively looks for business process improvements that enhances total team performance
  • Able to take the organizational vision into action that will provide the right work processes and workflows
  • Lead the team to the right option/decision based on available data and insights that supports total system thinking
  • Provide short, mid, and long-term view of supply needs with the foresight to manage resource constraint balance with servicing the needs of Coke Florida customers and consumers
  • Works collaboratively with key business leaders and peer group to deliver the needed business solutions and processes
  • Innovative thought leadership while working through others to achieve the needed business outcomes
  • Lead and implement new Transportation initiatives through RFP and other negotiations with transportation/bottling/NAOU partners
  • Oversee all aspects of Alternative Delivery Modes from orders to end use customers
  • Other assigned duties supporting Coke Florida business needs

For this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, or Engineering disciplines
  • Entrepreneurial business experience with proven business and people leadership is highly preferred
  • Ten (10) plus years of operational experience with strong preference with supply chain, field operations with management of multiple functions and teams
  • People leadership experience required with role and scope progression
  • Specific experience in SAP APO or Blue Yonder highly preferred
  • Strong adoption of the Coke Florida norms of positivity, respect, commitment, responsibility, teamwork, safety, results & integrity
  • Must have strong end to end business understanding and capabilities
  • Must be a problem solver & solutions oriented
  • Strong self-motivation to improve capabilities of self and others through various means of learning methods
