As a highly respected and growing national firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, our Financial Services Central Division maintains offices in Solon, Ohio and Ft. Wright, Kentucky, with plans to open an office in West Virginia soon.

*Job Responsibilities*
We are seeking a *Legal Collections Attorney*, to work out of our Solon, Ohio office, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. This *Legal Collections* *Attorney* will need excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The right Attorney must be committed to delivering quality legal work for the Firm’s clients and committed in growing and exhibit a “client first” approach to the practice of law.
*Key responsibilities include*
* Represent clients at hearings in multiple counties
* Handle large caseload
* Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
* Manage and coordinate with your team

*Requirements*
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active license and good standing to practice law in Ohio; admission in Kentucky and/or West Virginia is a plus.
* Minimum of one year of experience as a law clerk or practicing attorney, preferably in a related area of law.
* Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other applicable state and federal regulations governing creditors' rights and collections.
* Experience preferred in Creditors' Rights and Collections related practice.
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage competing priorities and bring matters to completion.
* Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

* Ability and willingness to travel regularly to courts and legal proceedings throughout Ohio.
* Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus.
