LTVS Collaboration Lead

Description
Venturi Astrolab, Inc. (Astrolab) is pioneering new ways to explore and operate on distant planetary bodies. We are singularly focused on designing, building, and operating a fleet of multi-purpose commercial planetary rovers to extend and enhance humanity's presence in the solar system. We are seeking motivated, creative, and exceptional people to join our world-class team.
Our Insight Lead is responsible for handling requests from NASA for insight into the LTVS Program in execution by Astrolab. You will field requests from NASA by e-mail, postings on web portal or telephone-web meetings. You will also work with engineering to identify and organize information for display on the Astrolab web-based portal, Stargate. You will ensure adequate customer support and insight into the LTVS program. You will be a member of Astrolab's program management team.
What you'll do:
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as NASA's main point of contact for day-to-day insight to Astrolab's execution of the LTVS contract
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the LTVS development program, and effectively communicate recent events, challenges, and trades to a customer audience
  • Track, prioritize, and negotiate customer concerns, working with engineering and program management leadership
  • Work with engineering to deliver documentation to NASA for insight purposes, including review, editing, and proper marking of reports and presentation materials
  • Maintain a schedule of working groups and technical panels, ensure invitations are sent to appropriate personnel, coordinate Teams invites, and post meeting recordings and/or meeting minutes to an online insight portal
  • Coordinate and schedule program meetings and events across multiple teams and organizations
  • Maintain insight action item tracking system and ensure all open actions have a schedule and owner that are making progress to resolution
  • Meet regularly with NASA counterparts to ensure customer support
  • Assist in the development of formal contract deliverables, including plans, reports, and milestone review presentations

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of project or program management experience; OR 5+ years of project or program management experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience working on NASA or other US Government programs
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, especially in managing documents, files, and project schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and coordinate a complex technical project
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with proprietary data types and export control restrictions
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as web hosting tools (SharePoint)
  • Proven ability to balance many competing priorities and requests in a fast-paced work environment
