POSITION SUMMARY:

The Collaboration Practice Director serves as the senior technical leader for Aspire Technology Partners' Collaboration Practice, providing technical vision, consultative leadership, and solution expertise across enterprise collaboration technologies with a focus on calling, contact center, and mass notification solutions.

This role partners with customers, technology partners, Sales, Engineering, and Service Delivery to develop, position, and deliver innovative collaboration solutions while advancing the technical maturity of the practice. The successful candidate is responsible for driving technical excellence through solution standards, technology evaluation, mentorship, and continuous improvement, ensuring Aspire delivers consistent, high-quality outcomes for both customers and internal stakeholders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

Client Leadership

· Serve as Aspire's senior technical advisor for strategic Collaboration opportunities.

· Lead customer discovery workshops to identify business objectives, operational challenges, and technical requirements.

· Develop solution architectures that align customer goals with industry best practices and Aspire standards.

· Present technical recommendations to audiences ranging from engineers to executive leadership.

· Support proposal development, Statements of Work, technical responses, and solution documentation.

· Provide technical guidance throughout implementation to ensure solutions are delivered as designed and customer expectations are achieved.

Sales Support

· Partner with Sales to identify, qualify, and develop Collaboration opportunities.

· Provide technical leadership during customer meetings, demonstrations, workshops, and executive presentations.

· Support solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and pricing discussions for complex opportunities.

Practice Stewardship

· Serve as the technical owner for Aspire's Collaboration Practice, ensuring the continued evolution of technical standards, competencies, and overall solution quality.

· Develop and maintain solution standards, reference architectures, design methodologies, and best practices.

· Evaluate emerging technologies, manufacturers, and service offerings to strengthen Aspire's Collaboration portfolio.

· Identify opportunities to create repeatable solution offerings and improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

· Drive continuous improvement through enhanced processes, documentation, and technical knowledge sharing.

Partner Engagement

· Maintain productive relationships with strategic technology partners through regular engagement, roadmap reviews, technical briefings, and joint customer initiatives.

· Remain current on product roadmaps, licensing models, and emerging collaboration technologies to guide technical decision-making.

Internal Leadership

· Collaborate with Engineering and Service Delivery to ensure successful deployment and transition of Collaboration solutions.

· Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex technical challenges and architecture reviews.

· Mentor engineers, architects, and sales teams through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership.

· Partner across cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen Aspire's position as a trusted technology advisor.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 10+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Collaboration solutions.

· Extensive customer-facing consulting and solution architecture experience.

· Experience supporting enterprise sales engagements from discovery through solution design.

· Strong understanding of enterprise collaboration, calling, contact center, and related networking technologies.

· Proven ability to develop trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.


Preferred Education and Experience:

· Cisco Collaboration certifications (CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent).

· Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom certifications.

· Experience developing technical standards, solution portfolios, or practice capabilities.

· Experience mentoring technical teams.

· Experience within a value-added reseller (VAR) or systems integrator.

· Experience supporting managed services and lifecycle offerings.
