Logitech for Business group is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive and manage the execution of the Video Collaboration hardware products.

About the Role

As a Principal Product Manager, your role involves defining, executing, and delivering Video Collaboration hardware products spanning our product portfolio. You will contribute significantly influencing the portfolio product strategy, conceiving new products, and ensuring an excellent user experience over the entire lifecycle of the products.

This role collaborates with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to define, develop and validate new products. Communicate directly with customers and partners to gain first hand knowledge of their challenges. Work hands-on with industrial designers and system engineers to translate those into products that are both feasible and viable. You will be the owner of the business case, influence the Go-to-Market plan and be the subject matter expert for the product.

This is a great opportunity for those with a strong technical inclination, coupled with substantial curiosity and empathy. You'll need to be passionate about conceiving, building, and maintaining products, with a focus on product design, sustainability, and new technologies. The role will be global with <25% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver clear product requirements for new products and accessories based on understanding real customer needs and partner requirements.

  • Regularly meet with customers to convey the product roadmap and gain valuable feedback and insights.

  • Engage with platform partners to understand their feature roadmap and product certification requirements.

  • Be the owner of the internal business case; understanding the market opportunity, value proposition, competitive environment, financial viability and high-level technical feasibility

  • Collaborate with industrial design, technical leads, operations and finance to own the product execution from concept through the entire lifecycle.

  • Drive early customer testing of pre-production samples ('beta testing') globally

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement on content development throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Represent Logitech for Business internally and externally at trade, channel, customer and online events.

  • Work with support escalation engineers, partner support channels, and our internal development teams to resolve field issues.

  • Align with the leadership team on major decisions, following a stage gate process with extended team and stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in Video Collaboration or Unified Communication space is a must.

  • Have a real passion for collaboration between people and how we can improve on the meeting room experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in defining, and delivering products for IT teams at SMBs all the way up to global enterprises.

  • 10+ years of experience in a Product Management role focused on hardware, ideally Video or Audio on Android-based or similar embedded systems.

  • Ability to easily communicate complicated concepts to non-technical people

  • Ambitious, hands-on, with a can-do attitude.

  • Intuition and empathy for customers' needs.

  • Love for solving technical problems in creative ways.

  • Equally comfortable in factory, tradeshow or boardroom settings.

Compensation:

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 168,000 and $ 250,000.In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
