The Maintenance Planner is not just a scheduler — this role serves as a hands-on operational partner focused on improving reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and equipment performance.

What you’ll do…

As the Maintenance Planner, you will support maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability initiatives, and CMMS management across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing maintenance schedules aligned with production priorities
  • Planning maintenance work including labor, parts, timelines, and scope
  • Improving preventive maintenance effectiveness and schedule compliance
  • Supporting predictive maintenance and reliability initiatives
  • Analyzing downtime trends, PM compliance, OEE, MTBF, and MTTR data
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
  • Serving as the primary owner of CMMS planning and data integrity
  • Developing maintenance reports, dashboards, and planning tools
  • Partnering directly with maintenance technicians and operations teams on the shop floor
  • Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reliability, and operational performance

  • Experience supporting preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment and maintenance best practices
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, operations, and engineering teams
  • Strong communication and reporting skills

Preferred:

  • Experience within food manufacturing or packaging environments
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, thermography, or condition monitoring
