Nammo Defense Systems, Inc., a defense contractor, is the primary USA operation of the Nammo Group (Nammo AS). Nammo Defense Systems Inc. (NDS) develops, manufactures, and supports Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLMs), energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aerospace structures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifies, develops, implements and maintains equipment inventory initiatives within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
• Develops and maintains Preventative Maintenance schedules and related content
• Develops, establishes and maintains site-wide procedures regarding equipment and location naming conventions
• Develops and maintains a tool control system for maintenance tools
• Develops and maintains a system for spare parts acquisition and associated inventory control
• Benchmarks Mesa site’s existing CMMS software with peer systems in industry and other Nammo sites
• Develops and maintains CMMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for technicians and internal users
• Develops feedback loops from internal users on TPM performance and implements improvements
• Trains technicians and internal users on proper CMMS practices
• Develops and maintains system for maintenance projects, grouping them to improve definition of scope and decrease level of effort required to capture cost and timing data
• Advocates for CMMS usage within other departments, fostering adoption when beneficial
• Interfaces with external software developers to customize for NDS needs
• Functions as main interface with internal IT department for CMMS hardware and software integration
• Facilitates coordination with survey, utility and drafting experts to develop comprehensive site plan
• Other duties as required
• Follow standard practices and safety procedures.
• Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

This role requires collaboration across internal teams and with external stakeholders.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

• Ability to obtain approval through BATF for access to work at all Plant locations
• 1-10 years of related experience
• Possesses long-term planning and strategic / first principles thinking mindset
• Ability to manipulate backend software parameters to improve user efficiency
• Experience within hardware implementation of barcode readers, QR tags, PDAs, GPS and RFID tags
• Organized, disciplined and process-oriented
• Comfortable with project ambiguity and data management
• Deeply inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo
• Adept at communicating and delivering complex ideas to business staff at all levels
• Ability to focus on detailed work with 100% accuracy
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to accurately write reports and speak effectively with other employees
• Ability to gain BATF clearance
