Location: Midway, Florida
POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Planner will be a key member of our Reliability team who assists in the development of our company's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This individual will be closely involved with the implementation, development, and upkeep of the system.
The Maintenance Planner will report to the National Maintenance Planner in Midway, FL.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the population and maintenance of the CMMS system
  • Provide support on CMMS-related requests, updates, and guidance
  • Conduct routine internal audits of equipment, records, and documentation
  • Assign Asset IDs and tags to equipment as needed
  • Design preventive maintenance tasks for assets
  • Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities to reduce operational costs
  • Oversee the processing of maintenance and calibration documentation
  • Provide support for internal and external audit requests for maintenance documentation
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant trends and opportunities for improvement

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High proficiency in the principles of mechanical equipment
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be meticulous and able to work independently and safely
  • Experience using a CMMS or similar database system
  • Preferred: CMMS administration experience
  • Preferred: 3-5 Years of experience as a Maintenance Planner
  • Preferred: AA/BA/BS in a technical field and/or 2-4 years of related experience in a GMP environment

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • High degree of PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly advanced in Microsoft Excel or similar
  • Highly knowledgeable with a database environment
  • Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as: reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

WORK SCHEDULE
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
