POSITION PURPOSE

  • Work closely with the executive team and develop Financial Models for the analysis of investments and new businesses plans for new opportunities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop Financial Models for the analysis of investments and new businesses
  • Develop Business Plans for new opportunities
  • Evaluate investment opportunities
  • Collaborate in the development of business projections
  • Develop proposals and recommendations on new opportunities or business lines
  • Prepare current business performance analysis and monitoring reports
  • Monitoring compliance with projections, budgets and business plans


SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

  • Solid experience developing financial models
  • Experience in statistics and simulation software
  • Methodical, orderly and with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Experience in preparing business plans, performance reports and investment recommendations
  • Ability to work simultaneously on several projects in different industries and both independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of accounting, analysis of financial statements
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Statistical software (i.e. Montecarlo)
  • Solid knowledge of the use of Artificial Intelligence tools for modeling and research
  • Built automated frameworks using advanced AI tools to accelerate modeling
  • Up to date with trends in different industries, management of financial indices and solid knowledge of financial/statistical software
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish)


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA preferred
  • A plus if you have experience in negotiation and financing structures


EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in business development or related field.
  • Preferably with experience in different industries; telecommunications experience is a strong asset.
