Job TitleCMMS Data SpecialistJob Description SummaryThe CMMS Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality asset data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support operational readiness across all sites, including laboratories, facilities, utilities, and equipment. This role ensures accurate asset onboarding, preventive maintenance and calibration setup, regulatory compliance, and data integrity, while partnering closely with Global Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and the CMMS Administrative team.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and manage electronic change requests for assets, maintenance, calibration, and spare parts within the CMMS.
  • Track and verify the completion, approval, and system activation of CMMS change requests to support project operational readiness across all sites, including laboratory equipment.
  • Accurately enter and maintain asset data in the CMMS, including manufacturer, model, serial number, criticality, and supporting documentation.
  • Verify that all new and modified assets have properly defined preventive maintenance and recurring calibration schedules aligned with maintenance best practices.
  • Create and maintain calibration data sheet templates in the CMMS based on assessments provided by Metrology and Reliability Engineering.
  • Review, audit, and validate asset records to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate CMMS reports, dashboards, and analytics to support asset management strategies and Reliability Engineering initiatives.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of asset hierarchies to ensure proper asset structure and reporting.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement in asset onboarding, data governance, and CMMS workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Engineering and Reliability Engineering teams to align asset data requirements with operational readiness standards.
  • Assist the CMMS Administrative team with data execution, system implementation activities, and accurate transfer of asset information during project transitions.

  • 3+ years of relevant post graduate experience required

  • Understanding of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments

The compensation for the position is: $34.00 - $40.00
