Job description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $17.36 (Min) - $26.03 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
As the Client Support Representative, you are the first contact of the Radiology Department, whether it is greeting a person presenting at the reception desk or a caller on the phone. This individual is responsible for setting a professional, courteous, and compassionate tone to ensure a positive customer experience. The representative registers the patient by obtaining and accurately entering all personal, financial, and insurance data. He/she must obtain all signatures necessary to treat the patient and bill their insurance.
The client representative performs a variety of secretarial and clerical duties in the Radiology Department. This includes patient registration, scheduling, ordering examinations and obtaining written physician orders for each exam requested. The receptionist also answers questions regarding patient preparations, routes calls from physicians to the appropriate radiologist or other staff members.
Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written communication
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred:
  • Experience in a hospital or related setting
  • Bilingual strongly preferred
