Job description

Client Care & Business Development Coordinator Part-Time | Growth Opportunity to Full-Time Be the First Voice Families Trust.

At Senior Helpers Central Dallas, exceptional care begins long before a caregiver arrives at a client's homeโ€”it begins with the very first conversation.

We're looking for a caring, confident, and relationship-driven professional to become the first point of contact for families seeking home care. You'll listen with compassion, build trust, educate families about our services, and guide them through one of the most important decisions they'll ever make.

You'll also serve as the bridge between our clients and care giving team, working closely with our Scheduling Manager to ensure every client is thoughtfully matched with the caregiver who best fits their care needs, personality, preferences, and schedule. Together, you'll create successful, long-lasting client-caregiver relationships that lead to exceptional care and an outstanding client experience from day one.

This is much more than an office position. It's a unique opportunity that combines client care, consultative sales, business development, marketing, and community outreach. You'll confidently represent Senior Helpers to families, healthcare professionals, and referral partners while helping grow a locally owned business that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

This position begins part-time, with a clear path to full-time employment and future leadership opportunities as our agency continues to grow.

Why You'll Love This Role:

Every day is different. One moment you'll be helping a family find the care they desperately need, and the next you'll be building relationships with healthcare professionals or working alongside our Scheduling Manager to create the perfect caregiver match and schedules.

If you're passionate about helping people, enjoy building relationships, and want to be part of a growing company where your work truly matters, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What You'll Do: Client Care & Admissions-

As the first point of contact for prospective clients and families, you'll:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, website inquiries, and emails promptly.
  • Listen carefully to each family's needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Educate families about our home care services and confidently guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Schedule in-home care assessments.
  • Follow up consistently with prospective clients until services begin.
  • Prepare on-boarding documents.
  • Coordinate client starts and caregiver Meet & Greets.
  • Conduct 24-hour and 30-day client satisfaction calls and visits.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their families.

Partner with Our Scheduling Manager-

Exceptional care starts with the right match.

You'll work closely with our Scheduling Manager to ensure every client is paired with the caregiver who best fits their care needs, personality, preferences, and schedule.

Together, you'll:

  • Review each client's care needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Identify the best caregiver match for every client.
  • Coordinate smooth transitions from intake to active care.
  • Confirm schedules, caregiver assignments, and client expectations.
  • Communicate important client information to ensure outstanding service.
  • Work together to quickly solve scheduling challenges while maintaining an exceptional client experience.

Business Development & Community Outreach-

You'll play an important role in growing our agency throughout the community by building relationships and confidently representing Senior Helpers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with referral sources including physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Confidently speak about Senior Helpers, our mission, and the services we provide.
  • Follow up with referral partners and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Deliver marketing materials and thank-you communications.
  • Schedule and participate in networking events, health fairs, and community outreach activities.
  • Request client reviews and testimonials.
  • Track referral sources and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with social media and community engagement initiatives.

Weekend Availability-

Families don't choose when they'll need care.

While this is primarily a weekday position, you'll be expected to field new client calls and inquiries over the weekend. Prompt responses often make a tremendous difference for families facing urgent care situations, and your responsiveness ensures they receive the guidance and support they need when they need it most.

Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness are essential in this role.

What We're Looking For:

We're searching for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, caring, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
  • Well-spoken, confident, and professional on the phone and in person.
  • Comfortable discussing our services and helping families make informed decisions.
  • Sales-minded without being pushyโ€”you enjoy building trust and helping people find solutions.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable networking and representing our company in the community.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others.
  • Positive, energetic, and eager to grow with a family-owned business.

If people describe you as someone who loves working with others, communicates exceptionally well, and always finds a way to get things done, we'd love to meet you.

Preferred Experience-

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Client Relations
  • Customer Service
  • Sales or Admissions
  • Healthcare
  • Home Care
  • Senior Living
  • Hospitality
  • Office Administration
  • Marketing or Community Outreach

Home care experience is a plusโ€”but it's not required. We're happy to train the right person with the right attitude, work ethic, and heart for serving others.

What We Offer-
  • Part-time position with a clear path to full-time employment.
  • Growth into leadership opportunities as our agency expands.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Paid training.
  • PTO per company policy.
  • A supportive, family-owned work environment.
  • Meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of seniors and their families.
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of a growing agency.

What Success Looks Like-

Within your first six months, you'll confidently manage new client inquiries, build trusted relationships with families, coordinate successful client starts, partner seamlessly with our Scheduling Manager to create exceptional caregiver matches, and develop strong relationships with referral sources throughout the community.

Your ability to provide an outstanding first impression, represent Senior Helpers professionally, and help families feel confident in their decision will directly contribute to our continued growth and our mission of delivering exceptional care.

If you're compassionate, confident, relationship-focused, and excited to grow with a company that's making a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
