Job description

Who We Are

At Trility Consulting, we've built a strong, remote-work culture where people thrive, grow, and support each other - earning us a Great Place to Work Certification. Headquartered in Central Iowa, we embrace flexible schedules and collaboration across geographically distributed teams serving clients from all corners of the United States and globally.

We seek high-agency team members with the grit necessary to forge paths where none previously existed, to get back up when circumstances knock them down, to adapt to the changing needs of the client even when it is uncomfortable, and to ensure delivery on our commitments. Candidates must respect and value people, recognize that over-communication with the client is our standard, thrive on solving complex problems, have a passion for building teams, and know that delivering what a client actually values is more important than their own predispositions. People in this role need to love delivering value, and take pride in learning the expansive and ever-changing business of clients. Candidates are self-motivated and relentlessly working to become more today than they were yesterday.

What You Will Do

Trility Consulting is actively seeking a Client Partner who will help clients solve complex problems by introducing and aligning Trility's service offerings and capabilities to address business and technology needs.ย  We are seeking skilled hunters and developers of new business who are able to leverage a high-quality brand to create demand, rather than just respond to it. Additionally, the incumbent will continue to manage accounts and ongoing client relationships past the initial sale, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.ย

This is a remote position based in Des Moines, IA with occasional travel (up to 10%).ย  This role does not have direct teammate management responsibility.

  • Hunt new leads by researching, contacting, meeting with, and qualifying potential prospective clients in the Des Moines market and among their personal contact base (Prospecting).

  • In concert with solution delivery teams, continually support, evolve, and grow the Trility / client relationship, and extend and promote the value Trility can provide to our clients with consulting services (Account Management).ย

  • Alongside technical experts from Trility, elicit and synthesize prospects' business needs to successfully author proposals and close customized solution (SOW) contracts (Closing).

  • Proactively introduce solutions/ideas to clients to help improve their business performance.

  • Provide valuable insights, observations, and/or recommendations to client stakeholders and project sponsors.

  • Develop relationships with channel partners in the market for strategic advancement of mutual accounts and bi-directional sales opportunities.ย

  • Continually invest in personal learning to glean knowledge in both the business and technology landscape.ย  Understand current technology trends like GenAI, Cloud, ML, IoT, DevOps, etc.ย

  • Accurately update and maintain daily activity and prospect information in CRM, including keeping comprehensive up-to-date client information and a record of interactions.

  • Work with the marketing department to develop customized sales presentations and collateral tailored to the needs of prospects' problem points.ย

  • Work with the marketing department to enhance the Trility brand in the local market through various channels, including, but not limited to: events, social media, email campaigns, etc.

  • Work in a team sales environment, collaborating with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders to prepare, deliver, and close sales proposals.

How We Put You Firstย

Trility's culture is built upon the journey, character, and work ethic of our team members. We are a team of honorable and professional lifelong learners, who work together to proactively solve problems.ย ย

  • Work remotely anywhere in the United States with flexible work hours

  • Paid time-off, company holidays, and floating holidays

  • Comprehensive benefits with contributions towards premiums

  • 401(k) with immediate vesting

  • Sponsored and supported learning opportunitiesย

Job Requirementsย
  • Must reside in the state of Iowa

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in selling professional services to enterprise and upper mid-market customers.ย

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Must be able to pass a background check
