Role Overview:
The Implementation Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, leading complex, multi-service and multi-country implementations across Safeguard Global solutions, including EOR and Managed Services offerings. This role owns end-to-end project delivery for an assigned book of business, coordinating across internal operational teams, global partners, and client stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met. The Implementation Project Manager acts as both a subject matter expert and client advisor, influencing outcomes, managing risk, and ensuring seamless transitions into ongoing service delivery while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for welcoming clients on behalf of Safeguard Global and providing guidance to help them understand our products, services, and overall ecosystem as part of their introduction to the company.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and expanding clients during implementation.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects across EOR and Managed Services offerings.

  • Create, manage, and maintain detailed multi-workstream project plans.

  • Coordinate across internal operational teams, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Oversee client setup, technology adoption, and platform training.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.

  • Ensure accurate go-live forecasting and achievement of delivery targets.

  • Partner with Sales and Client Success to ensure seamless handoff and long-term success.

  • Champion client experience and drive strong CSAT/WSAT outcomes.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Implementation or Project Manager in a client-facing role.

  • Experience with HR, Payroll, Global Employment, Accounting or Entity Management preferred.

  • Strong project management, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage complex, multi-country or multi-service implementations.
