The Private Client Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a book of high-net-worth personal lines clients. This role partners closely with Producers to deliver comprehensive service support for complex personal insurance programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, endorsements, coverage and billing inquiries, preparation of new business proposals, annual renewal reviews, policy issuance, and remarketing strategies.


The Private Client Account Manager also plays a key role in identifying coverage gaps, generating new business quotes, and ensuring each client’s insurance program evolves with their risk profile. A strong understanding of high-net-worth carriers, products, and coverages is essential.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage new and renewal business while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with insurance carriers
  • Identify and proactively address coverage gaps, limitations, and risk exposures
  • Deliver exceptional client service to maintain a high client retention rate
  • Respond to client coverage and billing inquiries thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Partner with clients to ensure their personal insurance programs adequately protect assets and liability exposures
  • Accurately issue endorsements and proactively assess how changes to one line of coverage may impact others
  • Educate clients on loss prevention strategies and provide guidance on best practices before, during, and after a loss
  • Prepare and present new business proposals and comprehensive annual renewal reviews
  • Generate and issue Evidence of Insurance (EOIs) for mortgagees, lienholders, landlords, property managers, and other interested parties
  • Create and process Lost Policy Releases (LPRs)
  • Utilize public data sources and high-net-worth carrier systems to quote new business and remarket existing accounts as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Active Arizona Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License required
  • Active California Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License, or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience personal lines insurance
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of the following personal insurance lines:

oExcess Liability

  • Experience working with high-net-worth carriers such as: AIG, Berkley One, Chubb, Cincinnati, Hagerty, Markel, Nationwide Private Client, Progressive, PURE, Safeco, Travelers, Vault
  • High level of technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated success in providing timely, high-quality customer service
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while balancing individual and team goals
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism
