Its high schools include Arroyo, El Monte, Mountain View, Rosemead, South El Monte and Fernando R. Ledesma High School. EMUHSD also features the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School, one of California's largest and most respected adult programs. EMUHSD employs over 600 certificated employees and over 500 classified employees. The professional staff provides educational programs for over 7,000 students in grades 9 through 12 and 11,000 in adult education.

Job Description / Essential Elements:
Under general supervision of a site of office administrator performs entry level clerical duties that include light typing, filing, logging, copying and switchboard relief. Performs simple clerical work involving specific routines; operates various office equipment; provides switchboard relief. Must have basic knowledge of general office procedures. Should have enthusiasm for the job and be willing to learn. Must type at a net corrected speed of 15 words per minute from clear, legible copy. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual ability in English/Spanish is desirable.

  • Typing Certificate (Proof of ability to type at net corrected speed of 15 WPM is required. Typing tests can be scheduled at the district office. No online tests will be accepted.)
