Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.

How you will create an impact

The Zonal Claims Executive is the key enabler to promoting AIG Claims as a competitive differentiator by providing local resolution of complex claims issues and offering clients and brokers access to claims senior management. Manages the zonal team of claims client account management staff.

  • Facilitate resolution of significant claims issues across all lines of business that are escalated to zone management.

  • Enhance claims relationships with brokers and clients through the execution of Claims Advisory Boards.

  • Participate in Zone Executive Committee and represent the “voice of claims” in Zone strategy discussions and directives.

  • Manages zonal team of Claims Account Managers, Client Service Managers.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • A strong understanding of commercial claims, insurance litigation and an ability to address complex technical problems.

  • A proven track record of technical claims skills.

  • Strong, rational decision-making capability and ability to work with colleagues at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a Juris Doctor is a plus.

For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $125,000-$166,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
