Job description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused SHORT TERM Temporary Customer Service Representative to support a busy office during an upcoming property tax notice period. This position is fully onsite opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys helping the public, can remain calm under pressure, and communicates clearly in high-volume environments. Residents will be contacting the office with questions related to property tax notices, assessments, payment deadlines, and billing information. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and comfortable handling repetitive inquiries while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and emails from residents
  • Respond to questions regarding property tax bills, assessed property values, deadlines, and payment details
  • Provide clear, professional, and courteous customer service
  • Accurately document inquiries and relay information when necessary
  • Assist residents with navigating available resources and general tax-related processes
  • Maintain professionalism and composure during busy or high-stress periods
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate staff members as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service, call center, administrative, or public-facing experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
