Job description

Customer Service Associate - 1st Shift

  1. Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED; advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel; and 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
  2. Reports to: Customer Service Manager.
  3. Primary job responsibility: Purchase Order processing, Work Order Generation, support customers in providing updates to active orders and late shipments.
  4. Essential functions of the position:
  1. Accepts, processes, and tracks sales orders;
  2. Coordinates and shares order and product status to ensure on-time delivery.
  3. With support from the Customer Service Manager, provides updates to inquiries on delivery times and product availability where appropriate;
  4. Maintains customer files and other documentation;
  5. Other related functions as needed.
