Job description

CLAIMS COORDINATOR
ServiceMaster Restore of Greater Houston
2501 Central Parkway, Suite B1, Houston, Texas 77092

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
ServiceMaster Restore of Greater Houston is a newly formed ServiceMaster Restore franchise launching operations in August 2026 in Houston. This is greenfield build, in the 4th largest market in the U.S., within a national brand: well capitalized, professionally run, and growth-oriented from day one.

The Claims Coordinator will be one of the company's first hires and the operational hub that keeps every job moving — the person who ensures job files, insurance documentation, and customer communication are accurate and on schedule from first notice of loss through final invoice.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Claims Coordinator is responsible for ensuring each job is accurately documented and compliant with ServiceMaster standards, insurance carrier requirements, and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) guidelines. Reporting directly to the Owner & President, this office-based role coordinates documentation, manages claim files, supports estimating, and makes sure every required piece of information is submitted accurately and on time. Success in this position requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining complete, audit-ready job files that support timely billing and claim resolution.

Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple active claims simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office and field teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Previous experience in restoration, insurance claims, construction administration, or office management

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
A successful Claims Coordinator ensures every job file is complete, compliant, and submitted on time. They proactively coordinate documentation between field teams, estimators, customers, insurance carriers, and TPAs to minimize delays, support accurate billing, and help the company maintain outstanding compliance standards and customer satisfaction.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

• Base Pay. Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
• Performance Incentives. Tied to documentation accuracy, claim cycle time, and customer satisfaction (as applicable)
• Benefits. Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision; 401(k)
