Job description

We are a dynamic team dedicated to managing Financial Crime risks across the Euroclear Group, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and related compliance domains. As a key component of the Three Lines of Defence , Compliance & Ethics plays a critical role in safeguarding Euroclearโ€™s integrity, protecting its reputation, and ensuring trust in the financial markets.

This opportunity sits within the Analytics & Tooling Team of the Compliance & Ethics Department, which is leading the digital transformation of Compliance & Ethics through the strategic use of AI, data, and digital solutions . We are seeking an individual who combines strong technical expertise with intellectual curiosity, problem-solving capabilities, and business acumen, while embracing and driving positive change.

Role

The role offers a unique opportunity to citizen development solutions for Compliance & Ethics using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate design and develop practical AI agents. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of data products leveraging the Cloud Data Platform, helping unlock insights and improve operational effectiveness across the function.

Alongside these technology-focused responsibilities, the role provides the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of financial crime compliance, governance, controls, and compliance practices, enabling you to build both technical and regulatory expertise in a high-impact and highly visible environment. Your responsibilities
  • Support the divisional vision and strategy of providing smart, sensible data and digital solutions to empower Compliance & Ethics teams.
  • Act as the main interface between IT teams and specific business/functional areas from Compliance & ethics for end to end digital transformation providing solution building, roll outs and maintenance.
  • Administration and technical advisory for various compliance service domains and IT /Data/AI tools.
  • Elicit business functional and non-functional requirements and create clear perennial documentation (business process diagrams, high-level and detailed requirements, etc.).
  • Lead or contribute to citizen development initiatives using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, translating business needs into simple, robust, and maintainable solutions that improve efficiency, insight, and user experience.
  • Lead or contribute to the identification, design, development, testing, deployment, and adoption of practical AI agents and AI-enabled solutions, with a strong focus on Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities.
  • Build effective relationships and establish proactive interactions with Compliance teams, business managers, data suppliers, IT specialists, Power Platform experts, and other data analysts across the company.
  • Explore business problems with curiosity, challenge current ways of working, propose practical ideas, and contribute to initiatives that improve the functioning and productivity of the division through data, automation, AI, and citizen development.
  • Continuously learn, assess, and apply new technologies pragmatically, while also developing business understanding, compliance knowledge, and awareness of governance, risk management, and internal control practices.
Technical Skills
  • You have a master's degree in a field whereAI/data is relevantor equivalent professional experience/specific certifications.
  • You have at least five years of experience in data, analytics, automation, AI, citizen development, digital solution delivery, or a related field.
  • You can analyze business flows and business problems, understand user needs, and translate them into practical, value-adding solutions.
  • You have hands-on experience with, or a strong ambition to develop expertise in, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents, prompt design, and practical AI use cases in a business environment.
  • You have hands-on experience with, or a strong ambition to develop expertise in, citizen development using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, including building solutions that are simple, maintainable, and adopted by users.
  • Experience with the following technologies is a plus: Copilot,Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, relational databases and SQL,clouddataplatform(data lake), and Python.
  • Belonging to, and being active in, communities such as WeConnect , Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, AI, or Data Scientist communities is a plus.
  • You are self-confident, autonomous, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • You are curious, analytical, and motivated by solving concrete business problems.
  • You can collect, manage, evaluate, and use data and user requirements with sound critical thinking, strong data literacy, and a pragmatic delivery mindset.
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills and can promote the adoption of the AI, data, and citizen development solutions you build.
  • You are willing to continuously learn and develop not only technical skills, but also business understanding, compliance knowledge, and awareness of governance, risk management, and internal control.
