Department: Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI CoE)
Reports to: Manager, BI Customer Coordination
About the Role
This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship or C2C.
The BI Enablement & Analytics Training Lead will drive adoption, capability development, and best practices across the organization. This role is responsible for supporting and scaling our Citizen Developer program by providing structured training, mentorship, and governance-aligned development support.
This role empowers business analysts to rapidly translate their domain expertise into analytics solutions that meet evolving stakeholder needs. Leveraging a hub-and-spoke data architecture, analysts access enterprise-governed data while maintaining the agility to build function-specific insights, balancing centralized quality with decentralized responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics Enablement & Citizen Developer Support
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Citizen Developers across multiple business functions in a manufacturing organization
  • Provide hands-on advisement for dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization best practices
  • Host regular office hours to support varying skill levels and facilitate peer learning opportunities
  • Promote scalable, reusable development patterns and component libraries
  • Partner with BI teams to understand data availability, architectural constraints, and platform capabilities
  • Develop role-based training paths for analysts and power users at varying skill levels
  • Create and maintain enablement materials including guides, templates, standards documentation, and video tutorials
  • Facilitate workshops and practical learning sessions aligned with real business use cases
  • Assess skill gaps and recommend personalized development plans
  • Coordinate with external training providers where appropriate, ensuring consistency between external curriculum and internal standards
Governance & Standards
  • Champion data governance standards and best practices within the Citizen Developer community
  • Enforce development guardrails including naming conventions, documentation requirements, and data lineage practices
  • Collaborate with Data Governance team to translate technical standards into practical guidance for business analysts
  • Conduct quality reviews of citizen-developed applications
  • Collaborate with IT Security and Data Privacy on access management and data handling education
Program Management & Measurement
  • Track and report on Citizen Developer program metrics including active developers, applications created, user adoption, and quality indicators
  • Maintain registry of citizen-developed applications and owners
  • Provide regular reporting on program health, training effectiveness, and skill development progress
Platform Expertise
  • Maintain expert-level proficiency in Qlik Cloud, including Set Analysis, data modeling, and load scripting
  • Maintain working knowledge of Power BI sufficient to guide development and understand architectural differences
  • Understand Snowflake data structures, semantic layer concepts
  • Stay current on platform capabilities and emerging best practices
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles with at least 2 years in a training, enablement, or developer support capacity
  • Qlik Cloud proficiency including data modeling, Set Analysis, and performance optimization
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and ability to compare platform strengths and limitations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses
  • Familiarity with medallion architecture and semantic data modeling
  • Previous experience with analytics in manufacturing environment
