Marubeni Citizen-Cincom is the North American distributor of Citizen-Cincom Swiss sliding headstock lathes and Miyano turning centers. Instead of making the same parts every day, you'll help manufacturers keep their equipment running by installing new machines, diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and getting customers back into production.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and traveling to different machine shops. You'll represent one of the most respected names in Swiss machining while working alongside experienced service technicians and applications engineers.

⚙️ What you'll be doing

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Citizen-Cincom and Miyano CNC machines
• Travel to customer facilities for machine installations, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and CNC control issues
• Replace machine components including ball screws, servo motors, and cartridge spindles
• Read ladder diagrams and utilize machine diagnostics to identify problems quickly
• Align tooling and interface bar feed systems
• Repair spindle bearings and perform machine alignments
• Complete first-part runoffs following installations and major repairs
• Provide technical support over the phone when customers need assistance
• Work independently while representing Marubeni Citizen-Cincom at customer facilities

You'll support customers machining a wide variety of materials, including:

✅ What we're looking for

Required

• CNC machine tool service, maintenance, or field service experience
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read ladder diagrams and utilize CNC control diagnostics
• Solid understanding of machine geometry and machining principles
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• Swiss machining experience
• Experience with Citizen-Cincom equipment
• Experience with Miyano machines
• Previous OEM field service experience
