Availity is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer to help shape the company's future growth and competitive position within the evolving healthcare ecosystem. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this leader will partner closely with the CEO, Board, and executive team to define Availity's long-term strategy, identify new growth opportunities, lead corporate development activities, and drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. The role is responsible for identifying growth vectors, assessing how Availity competes, and determining whether strategic priorities are best achieved through organic investment, partnerships, acquisitions, or new business ventures.
The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of strategic insight, business judgment, healthcare industry expertise, and transaction experience, with a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.

To be qualified for this position you have:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.

Enterprise Strategy
  • Leading the development and refinement of Availity's long-term strategic plan.
  • Partnering with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to establish enterprise priorities and growth objectives.
  • Facilitating strategic planning, capital allocation, and portfolio management processes.
  • Developing frameworks that enable effective enterprise decision-making and prioritization.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory developments that affect Availity's business.

Corporate Development
  • Developing and executing Availity's corporate development strategy.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing acquisition, investment, partnership, and joint venture opportunities.
  • Leading strategic due diligence efforts, valuation analyses, and transaction execution.
  • Presenting recommendations and investment theses to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of strategic growth opportunities.
  • Managing external advisors, investment bankers, consultants, and legal partners as required.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
