Job description

Role:

Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Company:

Energycapitalx (ECX)

Location:

Hybrid San Diego or Hybrid Geneva

About Energycapitalx (ECX)

Energycapitalx is building the "Digistructure"โ€”a vertically integrated ecosystem operating at the critical intersection of Cybersecurity, AI, and Physical Infrastructure. We are shifting the paradigm from static service models to sovereign, AI-driven infrastructure. Our mission is to capture margin leakage and enforce absolute trust in AI-driven workflows through our four strategic pillars: Sovereign Infrastructure, Active Defense, Active Vulnerability Management, and AI-Supply Chain Security.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact, executive-grade COO/CFO to lead our operational and financial architecture during a phase of rapid global expansion. This is a performance-aligned role designed for an operator who thinks like a shareholder, with no ceiling on impact.

What You Will Do

  • Financial Operations & Capital Strategy: Lead the companyโ€™s capital management, banking relationships, and business line-of-credit development. Drive equity raises for data center expansion and asset securitization.

  • Strategic Growth & M&A: Execute our aggressive acquisition roadmap, integrating key capabilities to fuel our "Digistructure" vision.

  • Public Company Readiness: Oversee the financial infrastructure and systems required to support a reverse merger, including managing financial consultants and accounting systems.

  • Operational Leadership: Serve as a core leader across ECX business activities, including investor relations, board governance, and institutional partnership management.

  • Investor Relations: Implement robust ARR valuation methodologies and modeling for our IaaS business model to drive investor transparency and growth.

Our Management Incentive Plan (MIP)

We offer a full-time, performance-aligned executive compensation package. Our structure includes:

  • Executive-Grade Compensation: Competitive baseline driven by your industry expertise and architecture milestones.

  • Performance Equity: Eligibility for equity awards (up to 9% of diluted equity) based on independently negotiated capitalization plans and agreed-upon milestones.

  • Impact-Driven: A culture where your contribution is directly tied to enterprise value creation.

Who You Are

  • You have a proven track record of scaling operations and managing complex financial/capital structures.

  • You are an operator who thrives in the intersection of deep tech, infrastructure, and high-growth business strategy.

  • You possess the integrity and discipline to manage governance frameworks, audits, and investor expectations with precision.
