Location: WOW! Markets, must be within 45 min from office

The Channel Sales Manager position is responsible for directly interfacing with assigned and prospective agent partners to ensure the achievement of budgeted sales volumes in assigned territory.

What you'll be doing:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for territory sales volume and quota on a monthly basis through indirect sales channel

  • Provides weekly sales forecasting

  • Perform ad hoc analysis/reporting as needed

  • Weekly Sales & Funnel reporting for Sales Organization.

  • Provides pricing, solution design and quotes to agents in assigned territory

  • Participates and drives hosted partner/channel events

  • Responsible for interfacing with assigned agent partners for the purpose of growing the business relationship and achieving the budgeted sales volumes

  • Continually educates and trains Agents on WOW! Business and Residential Service products and services

  • Manages defined revenue and volume objectives for each Partner

  • Monitors key sales operational tactics and metrics as defined by leadership team

  • Contributes to the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process to assure sufficient resources are available to meet outlined objectives

  • Gathers and distributes industry information including competitive information to ensure team is aware of key industry trends and changes

  • Establishes and manages prospecting activities and tracking systems

  • Acts as a point of contact for Agents' to field all questions and concerns

  • Other related duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or the equivalent in training and experience

Experience/Skills Needed:

  • 5 or more years in professional sales and marketing, specifically selling telecom services

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of voice and data products

  • Ability to support a team of sales professionals

  • Ability to deliver presentations to large and small groups

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent analytical skills, with data mining skills a plus

  • Understanding of key performance indicators for telecommunications industry a plus

  • Management experience within telecom

  • Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner

  • Ability to work with, and in, a team environment

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic software protocols from a general perspective would be a plus. Intermediate to advanced Word processing skills, Power Point, Excel spreadsheets, email and Internet experience required. Some knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger software preferred.

  • Proficiency with word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software; Internet software and email

  • Ability to learn new software systems and access online support/tools
