In North America, we're expanding across targeted enterprise markets and looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to generate new business and strengthen our presence in Southern California.
The Opportunity
As Business Development and Channel Sales Manager, you'll identify, assess, and execute business development opportunities across targeted market sectors, including state and local government, education, healthcare, transportation, and manufacturing. You'll develop and implement agreed growth strategies that support profitable development for Gallagher in North America.
You'll identify, qualify, and close opportunities for Gallagher Security solutions, products, and services while nurturing long-term relationships with enterprise end users, channel partners, and key influencers. Working closely with Channel Sales Managers, Technical Solution Specialists, and internal teams, you'll create end-user demand, support technical customer conversations, and convert opportunity into sustainable revenue.
What You'll Do
• Build a strong sales pipeline and close new commercial business that supports revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
• Develop and execute business development portfolio plans across targeted verticals in Southern California.
• Create strong end-user pull-through by building relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, consultants, integrators, and key influencers.
• Lead customer presentations and collaborate on technical solutions that address customer business problems.
• Use customer insight, competitor awareness, and market surveillance to shape account plans, channel opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and reporting to support territory visibility and performance.
What You'll Bring
You're a commercially minded security sales professional who can open doors, build trusted relationships with end users and channel partners, and move complex technical opportunities from early engagement through to close.
• 5+ years of sales experience in the security industry, with proven success in B2B business development and solution selling.
• Experience creating opportunities across state and local government, education, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, or similar enterprise verticals.
• A track record of building pipeline, opening new accounts, managing complex relationships, and exceeding sales targets or quotas.
• Strong channel management experience, including developing partner relationships and creating end-user pull-through.
• Technical aptitude across physical and logical security solutions, with awareness of cloud, identity, infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts.
