Description

Family Service Advisor - Funeral & Cemetery Salesย

Salt Lake City, UTย

Full-Time- Base salary plus uncapped commission - on-target earnings $70,000-$180,000+ ย

Serve Families. Build a Career with Purpose.ย

This role is for someone who feels called to serve - and who is driven to sell.ย

As a Family Service Advisor, you will work in one of our beautiful cemeteries and mortuaries alongside a team that is fun and upbeat - doing work that genuinely matters.ย

You will walk with families through meaningful decisions, helping them plan, prepare, and find peace of mind. This is not transactional work. It requires presence, compassion, and follow-through.ย

It is also a professional sales role. Serving families well requires consistency, discipline, daily outreach, and a commitment to growth.

Licensingย

This is a licensed role. If you are not yet licensed, we will support you through the process - study materials, coaching, and licensing costs are provided. We expect candidates to pursue licensing promptly and with the same accountability we expect in the field.

Who Thrives Hereย

You will do well in this role if you:ย

  • Are sales-oriented and motivated by goals, activity, and earningsย
  • Naturally put people first and find purpose in serving othersย
  • Are willing to prospect consistently, even when it's uncomfortableย
  • Can commit to a rotating Monday-Saturday schedule, including evenings as neededย
  • Take feedback, apply it, and keep improvingย
  • Hold yourself accountable to your activity and your resultsย
  • Follow through on what you say you're going to doย

What You'll Doย

  • Meet with families and guide them through pre-planning with care and clarityย
  • Educate - not pressure - so families can make confident decisionsย
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through daily outreach and follow-upย
  • Hit consistent activity expectations that drive appointments and salesย
  • Communicate clearly with your team so families are fully supportedย
  • Represent a trusted organization with professionalism and integrityย

What You'll Receiveย

  • $70,000-$185,000 base pay + uncapped commissionย
  • Support and reimbursement toward required licensingย
  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits with HSA/FSA optionsย
  • 401(k) with company matchย
  • Paid time off + 12 paid holidaysย
  • President's Circle Incentive Trip opportunityย
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and advancement opportunitiesย

Requirements

What We're Looking Forย

  • Customer service, educators, veteran's, or sales experience preferred; a sales mindset requiredย
  • Willingness and ability to obtain required licensingย
  • Availability for a rotating Monday-Saturday scheduleย
  • Strong communication skills and emotional awarenessย
  • A service mindset and genuine coachabilityย
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportationย
  • High school diploma required ย

The Standardย

We serve families at a high level. That means:ย

  • We communicateย
  • We follow throughย
  • We stay consistent in our outreachย
  • We take ownership of our resultsย

Why This Role Mattersย

Families remember how they were treated in these moments. This role gives you the opportunity to show up when it matters most - and do it the right way.
