Catering Assistant

$25.86 base rate plus casual loading

(wages are changing to $27.09 base rate plus casual loading effective in the first payrun on or after 1 July 2026)

THE POSITION

  • Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
  • Serving Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Evening meals
  • Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment
  • Following all Food and Safety procedures

THE PERSON

  • Previous experience (Aged Care experience is desirable, not essential)
  • Personable, a team player who has exceptional communication skills
  • A sound knowledge in compliance driven catering techniques
  • Proof of immunisations against vaccine preventable diseases
  • NPC: must be willing to obtain a National Police Check
