Are you a highly skilled and motivated individual looking for a fun and dynamic work environment? Do you enjoy growing sales through Marketing, and increasing your paycheck!!!

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our energetic team. As a part of the Salsarita's Family, you will play a crucial role in running our very successful Catering program, and assist with Marketing. As the Catering Coordinator, and Manager, your responsibilities do not end with Catering and Marketing. Potential responsibilities may include supervising employees, creating shift schedules, monitoring team performance, working a position during meal periods and ensuring outstanding service for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Catering orders via phone, or online, prepping for catering events, delivering catering events, and working with the owner to schedule assistance as needed.
  • Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently, and effectively.
  • Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to the owner.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
  • Coaching team members and training new staff.
  • Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake, and preparing cash deposits.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid Drivers License in good standing
  • Previous experience in Marketing & Social Media helpful.
  • Previous experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar role in the restaurant industry.
  • Experience in building sales through Marketing of current, and potential clients.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professional appearance!
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Confident problem-solver.
  • Team player.
  • Experience in Excel, Facebook, Instagram, and Word.
