Job Description:

As a Medical Provider at DOCS Medical Group, you will play a critical role in delivering and managing direct patient care for a diverse patient population. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
  • Providing value-based care by engaging patients and their families or caregivers in understanding, setting, and monitoring self-management care plans.
  • Documenting individualized care plans and coordinating care in the patient’s medical record.
  • Analyzing patients' medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination findings to determine the most appropriate care.
  • Prescribing medications and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Referring patients to specialists or internal medicine when necessary.
  • Directing and coordinating patient care activities with nursing and support staff as needed.
  • Upholding and promoting patient rights and privacy.
  • Responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Participating in meetings to evaluate practice processes, workflows, patient care, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Engaging in specified health promotion, education, and prevention programs.
  • Participating in population health activities as directed by the practice.
  • Adhering to departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement initiatives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
