Position Overview: Care Manager
Our Puyallup branch is currently hiring a Care Manager to support day-to-day care coordination and ensure quality service delivery for our clients and caregivers. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of services, timely communication, and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of our administrative team, the Care Manager will lead a team of caregivers, coordinate caregiver schedules, monitor care plans and service authorizations, assist with on-boarding, and serve as the main point of contact for client and caregiver support.


Key Responsibilities

Care Coordination & Scheduling

  • Create and manage caregiver schedules based on client needs and authorized service hours

  • Track service logs and make schedule adjustments to ensure continuous coverage

  • Ensure accurate tracking of billed hours and compliance with state guidelines

Client & Caregiver Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, families, and caregivers

  • Address scheduling concerns and service issues with professionalism and urgency

  • Promote a client-centered and solutions-focused approach in all interactions

Documentation & Compliance

  • Assist with new client intakes, assessments, and care plan updates.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation and service records.

  • Monitor service authorizations and ensure timely renewals to remain in compliance.

Administrative Support & Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the hiring team to support caregiver on-boarding and readiness.

  • Communicate caregiver availability and schedule changes with the care team.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational planning and improvements.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable with digital systems.

  • Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a care-giving or healthcare setting.

  • Experience with scheduling systems.
