The Staff Planning Analyst is responsible for endtoend after-market service parts planning, managing demand, supply, and inventory from process design through execution. This role plays a key part in balancing inventory optimization, ontime delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction, while proactively navigating supply chain constraints and identifying innovative planning solutions.
This position reports to the Director Instruments Operations Planning and is part of the Contract Mfg, Service, and Pilot Operations located in Sunnyvale, California and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Own and execute endtoend demand, supply, and inventory planning for aftermarket service parts to ensure product availability and high service levels
  • Develop and maintain demand and supply plans that balance forecast accuracy, inventory targets, and ontime delivery performance
  • Drive scalable, analyticsled planning processes by leveraging systems, automation, and advanced data analysis to minimize manual intervention, prevent unvalidated demand from entering the pipeline, and proactively manage risks to inventory balance, service levels, and capacity.
  • Maintain and continuously improve planning parameters and system settings to drive inventory efficiency, network performance, and financial outcomes
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Customer Care, Logistics, Order Management, and Procurement to resolve supply risks, prioritize customer needs, and identify costreduction and network optimization opportunities

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in field with 6+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience.
  • Experience with aftermarket service parts planning or complex, multinode supply networks preferred
  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with Spares Part Planning Software such as Baxter, PTC, and SAP/ERP
  • Medical device experience is preferred
  • Database Management and SQL

The annual salary range for this role is 129,500.00 - 180,000.00 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
