Responsible for building scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure by forecasting demand, analyzing usage trends, and automating resource provisioning. Ensures reliable performance while preventing over/under-provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for infrastructure data
  • Develop models for capacity planning and demand forecasting
  • Analyze usage trends (CPU, memory, storage)
  • Conduct load testing and identify scaling bottlenecks
  • Optimize cost vs performance
  • Automate provisioning using Terraform/IaC
  • Support resilient architecture design with engineering teams

Tools
Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog; Terraform, Ansible; Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow; Chaos Engineering
Qualifications
  • 10-15 years in Data Engineering and SRE
  • Strong experience in capacity planning, forecasting, scaling
  • Hands-on with IaC, ETL/ELT, and big data tools
  • Exposure to monitoring platforms and resilience testing
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
