Job description

SolidWorks PDM Administrator / Application Support Analyst

Location: Milwaukee Area (Local Candidates Only)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000


We’re hiring a SolidWorks PDM Administrator to take ownership of a well-established environment and support engineering teams across multiple locations. This role offers strong knowledge transfer from a long-tenured SME and the opportunity to lead an upcoming upgrade to SolidWorks 2026.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and administer the SolidWorks PDM environment end-to-end
  • Support engineering and design users across multiple sites, including an international location
  • Troubleshoot complex SolidWorks issues (assemblies, files, vault structures)
  • Support and contribute to the SolidWorks 2023 → 2026 upgrade
  • Manage user access, workflows, permissions, and system configurations
  • Provide hands-on application support and end-user training
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system performance and usage

Requirements

  • SolidWorks PDM administration experience
  • SolidWorks application support experience
  • CAD experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with CAD assemblies and file issues
  • Experience supporting multiple users/locations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be local to the Milwaukee area
