Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine's speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.
Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.
Role Overview
Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for Post Processing Operator. This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities.
What You'll Do...
  • Perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal parts
  • Operate post-processing equipment including bandsaws, EDMs, and hand tools
  • Conduct visual inspections and follow quality control procedures
  • Communication of necessary tools and consumable items for day to day operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of post-processing work areas
  • Document work performed and report part non-conformances
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement efforts

You have...
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands-on technical role
  • Familiarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.)
  • Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers)
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Willingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing
  • Ability to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demands
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
