Job description

Job Title: CMMS Clerk
Location: Katy, TX.
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the light industrial/manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring business systems, especially the CMMS, are properly maintained, acting as a resource for technical issues, and supporting maintenance operations by performing systems transactions.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure business systems, especially the CMMS, are properly maintained and downtime is restricted to events related to system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Act as a resource for all technical issues or troubleshooting related to TLM maintenance-related business systems, in particular the CMMS.
  • Act as liaison with the relevant Business System Support team to resolve technical issues or convey suggestions for improvements.
  • Coach and provide training to personnel on executing critical system transactions for asset control, maintenance execution, and quality reporting.
  • Monitor accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of critical business system transactions.
  • Coordinate meetings and office communications, scheduling conference rooms, audio/visual equipment, and other materials as requested.
  • Assist with and organize company events.
  • Perform and ensure accuracy of invoices and support transactions related to payroll.
  • Support breakroom and office organization, including supplies and setup.
Requirements

  • Knowledge of business applications
  • Understanding of processing Purchase Orders, Quality/Quantity
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • Typing speed of 45-50 wpm
  • Able to demonstrate competency in basic Excel and typing during the interview
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
  • Experience with CMMS or similar business systems
  • Experience in a light industrial/manufacturing environment
