Job description

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Looking to drive growth and connect small businesses to innovative solutions at Spectrum? As an Account Executive, you will engage directly with prospective clients in your territory, selling voice, data, video and mobile services while expanding Spectrum’s customer base. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate new accounts and exceed sales targets, making a clear impact on Spectrum’s market reach. 


How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Prospect and generate new business sales within an assigned territory through field engagement and lead follow-up 
  • Conduct consultative needs analysis with prospective customers, leveraging expertise in Spectrum Business products and services 
  • Identify and offer tailored solutions for small business communication needs, including voice, data, video and mobile 
  • Achieve sales and product targets by managing sales opportunities from initial contact to closing the sale 
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities using required software and tools 
  • Collaborate with other business teams to ensure timely order execution and superior customer service 
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions as directed by management 

Working Conditions 

  • Field-based role with daily outside selling, frequent driving and walking required 
  • Office environment as needed when not in the field
