Job description

The Business Transformation Office (BTO) leads critical change initiatives that create tangible value for clients and advisors in the Wealth Management business. Our programs are sponsored by senior executives and are aligned with key business priorities. The team collaborates with Senior Management, Front Office Advisors, Product Specialists, Legal, Technology, and Marketing to implement complex, transformational change.


As the Executive Director, Business Transformation Project Manager in our Wealth Management team, you will define, refine, and deliver transformation strategies to meet the needs of our global business. Demonstrating thought leadership and best practices, you will leverage your deep understanding of business transformation and strong analytical acumen to make informed decisions that deliver to each of our businesses. If you are intellectually curious and have a passion for guiding solutions across organizational boundaries, you may be the perfect fit for our team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution the of major change initiatives in partnership with the Field, Product Solutions, Marketing, Communications, Service and Operations, Legal, Finance, and Technology
  • Define and implement business solutions in the context of existing business operating models, products and platforms, and regulatory constraints that meet business objectives and timing constraints
  • Establish and manage robust governance to ensure ongoing leadership, efficient decision-making and partner engagement, as well as approvals via relevant committees
  • Define program structure, including discrete workstreams, and engage leads to agree on deliverables, build detailed execution plans and understand risks and dependencies
  • Lead subject matter experts and functional partners through project lifecycles and governance tollgates by leveraging approaches in process re-engineering, organizational design, program and change management, as well as internal and client communication or training
  • Create transparency around risks, gaps, and opportunities and report in a simple, compelling way
  • Manage and develop more junior staff, and participate in recruiting

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to translate complex business strategies into practical execution plans, leveraging experience driving large-scale transformation
  • Deep experience leading end-to-end implementation projects including assessment, planning, current-state analysis, strategy and design, operating model definition
  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management business, including client segments, operating models, and current trends
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships across the organization, and lead meetings with senior stakeholders 
  • Track record for building and managing high performing teams
  • Experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, or business transformation
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
