What does a business transformation manager do?

A business transformation manager is responsible for identifying an area of opportunity within a company and implementing processes to change its performance for the better. In this career, your job duties include overseeing all aspects of the company, implementing any procedural change necessary, and improving how the people in the company perform through measurable improvements. The qualifications needed for a career as a business transformation manager include a bachelor’s degree in business management. To thrive as a Business Transformation Manager, you need expertise in project management, change management, and business analysis, usually supported by a relevant degree and experience leading organizational change. Familiarity with tools like Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, and ERP systems, along with certifications such as PMP or Prosci, is highly valuable. These competencies are essential for delivering transformational projects on time and ensuring organizational goals are met effectively.

Job description

Job Type
Full-time
Description
This is a newly created role at one of the most AI-forward companies in our sector. No template to follow. No blueprint to inherit. You'll report to our CTO with direct access to the CEO and C-Suite - using AI to accelerate executive execution while building the governance and adoption framework that scales across our US and Asia operations.
Not research. Not support. A mandate to create measurable value.
The AI Business Transformation Manager will own three interconnected mission:
(1) Accelerate C-Suite Execution with AI
  • Embed with the CEO and C-Suite - attend key meetings, capture emerging initiatives, and use AI to move priorities from conversation to output with urgency
  • Produce results, not decks - research, analysis, briefings, and communications that give leadership time back and raise the quality of every decision
  • Apply first-principles thinking to identify where AI can eliminate friction in executive workflows then implement the solution, don't just recommend it
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the leadership team on AI strategy, tooling, and emerging opportunity

(2) Build and Lead AI Governance & Policy
  • Develop and own Century's AI governance framework; policies, standards, and guardrails for responsible AI use across the organization
  • Establish tooling standards and approved AI workflows to prevent shadow AI and ensure consistency across US and Asia teams
  • Monitor adoption, identify risks, and keep governance frameworks current as the AI landscape evolves. This space moves fast and our policies need to keep pace
  • Serve as Century's internal authority on AI policy, vendor evaluation, and compliance considerations
  • Partner with HR and Compliance to ensure governance keeps up with usage

(3) Drive AI Adoption Across the Organization
  • Identify and prioritize high-ROI use cases across business functions: operations, customer delivery, finance, HR, and track the outcomes
  • Build a library of approved AI workflows, prompts, and playbooks that teams can adopt consistently, no reinventing the wheel across geographies
  • Connect teams solving similar problems; eliminate duplicated effort and capture leverage across US and Asia operations
  • Lead AI literacy initiatives: training, documentation, internal showcases - raise the floor across the whole organization
  • Give leadership clear visibility into what AI is delivering: adoption metrics, time saved, quality improvements, cost impact

Why This Role
  • In the room from day one: direct C-Suite access, not working toward it
  • Build from scratch: this function doesn't exist yet. You define what it becomes
  • Global scope: shape AI adoption across US and Asia
  • Growth path: potential to lead a cross-functional AI team in Asia as we scale

We are looking for builders. People who want to create something, not just run it.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus tied to AI adoption and measurable business impact
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and company holidays

Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years deploying AI in a commercial or operational setting. Actual deployment, not research
  • Daily hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, automation platforms, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented workflows
  • Proven ability to translate AI into business outcomes across time, cost, quality, and speed
  • Strong project management skills. You drive workstreams to completion without being chased
  • Comfortable coaching executives and challenging traditional ways of working
  • Executive-level communication, written and verbal
  • Comfort working across US and Asia time zones

Supply chain or logistics background, consulting experience, or a degree in AI/CS/Data Science. Even better, but not required.
Who We Are
Century Supply Chain Solutions is a technology-enabled, asset-light global logistics and supply chain management company, operating across the US and Asia. We serve clients who demand precision, transparency, and innovation and we deliver it through our proprietary VIZIV platform and a team that takes performance seriously. We are a portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners and are investing in AI as a core competitive advantage, not a side initiative.
