Job description

About PDQ
PDQ, founded in Salt Lake City, UT, USA, makes device management simple, secure, and Pretty Damn Quick. IT teams use our products to reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and enhance control in their unique environments. We are backed by TA Associates and Berkshire Partners, top-tier global private equity firms.
Our Core Values:
  • Honesty: You communicate transparently and build trust through your actions.
  • Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes and follow through on commitments.
  • Collaboration: You value diverse perspectives and work effectively across teams.
  • Improvement: You actively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate.

Job Description:
  • On-Site: This position is based in our South Salt Lake City, Utah office and requires regular on-site attendance.

The Business Transformation Analyst is a high-impact individual contributor role sitting at the center of PDQ's go-to-market evolution. Reporting to the Director of AI Transformation, this person will split their focus between two critical areas: driving AI-powered initiatives that expand revenue, reduce costs, and unlock capacity across the business, and leading selective GTM transformation bets spanning lead generation, pipeline efficiency, and sales productivity. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, including the COO, and requires someone who thrives doing real IC work on complex, cross-functional initiatives. You will own meaningful company-wide objectives and see them through from ambiguous starting points to clear outcomes.
Why this role matters:
PDQ is investing deliberately in AI and business transformation as a strategic lever for growth. This role sits at the intersection of both. The work you do here won't sit in a deck. It will ship as tools, processes, and initiatives that change how PDQ operates and competes.
In this role, you'll help PDQ move faster and smarter, directly influencing revenue growth, cost efficiency, and the maturity of our AI and GTM capabilities.
What you'll be doing:
  • Work directly with the COO and GTM leadership to shape, scope, and advance priority business transformation initiatives
  • Build and deploy AI tools and agents that solve real problems across GTM functions, from lead qualification to sales enablement
  • Track and report on progress across the AI and transformation initiative portfolio, surfacing insights and flags to senior leadership
  • Partner with GTM teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Finance to design and execute transformation initiatives
  • Distill business complexity and ambiguous requests into structured analyses, decision frameworks, and clear recommendations for executive stakeholders
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve how PDQ operates through AI, process redesign, and smarter use of data

We're looking for people who have:
Must Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-velocity learning environment such as management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or a fast-paced technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception through completion with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, modeling, and executive-level communication
  • High emotional and intellectual capability, comfortable operating with and for senior leadership in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with software development or scripting, particularly for building internal tools or automations
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, including Claude, Claude Code, or similar platforms for workflow automation and agent development
  • SQL or data analysis experience for self-serve reporting and quantitative insight generation
  • Exposure to B2B SaaS business models, GTM motions, or revenue operations

Who you are:
  • You thrive in ambiguity. You can take a poorly defined problem, structure it quickly, and drive toward a decision rather than waiting for perfect information.
  • You combine high IQ with high EQ. You're as sharp analytically as you are adept at reading a room, building trust, and getting things done through others.
  • You own your work end-to-end. From scoping to delivery, you take responsibility for outcomes and follow through. Senior stakeholders can hand you something and trust it will land.
  • You're a learner who builds. You pick up new tools and domains fast, and you're energized by the chance to apply AI and technology to business problems in practical ways.
  • You collaborate to create momentum. You work well across functions and levels, bring people along rather than around, and know how to make progress on initiatives that span the org.

PDQ Perks & Benefits:
PDQ offers all of the great perks and benefits you'd expect from working at a very cool tech company, and even some you might not expect, including:
  • 4-Day Work Week
  • Equity Participation
  • Managers who champion professional development
  • 100% Premium Coverage for medical, dental and vision for you and your dependents
  • 100% Premium Coverage for Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance
  • Company Match of the first 6% of your employee deferrals
  • Flexible Paid Time Off Policy that treats you like the adult that you are
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and wellness incentives
  • Quarterly Company Values Award (team member nominated)

PDQ is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, age, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, provincial, state, or local law. The majority of PDQ's full-time roles do not qualify for sponsorship of employment visas such as the H-1B visa. This applies to scenarios where a candidate might possess temporary work authorization during their schooling or after graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT), but would require H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment to retain eligibility for employment.
