About The Role:

The Senior Business Transformation Analyst is a trusted strategic partner in Baird's business objectives. They are adept in effective change management by leveraging people, process, and technology to increase and improve performance within the organization. The effective Sr. Analyst analyzes the current state of business processes by capturing the end-to-end orchestration of activities across business functions; showcasing how the organization delivers value to the client. The Sr. Analyst will create and document business process artifacts, such as business process models, decision models, and business rules to identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvement initiatives. The Sr. Analyst will collaborate with team members to help appropriately align process improvement recommendations to the strategic objectives of the firm. The Sr. Analyst will exhibit credibility in the automation and transformation space and leverage influence leadership skills with sponsors, stakeholders, and peers.

The Impact You'll Make

Business Process Modeling, Analysis & Design

  • Model current and future state business processes using the BPMN 2.0 analytical method.
  • Perform business process gap analyses to meet business unit's desired outcomes.
  • Lead process discovery workshops, interviews, and surveys.
  • Perform client experience and process optimization analyses.

Business Process Improvement

  • Utilize lean and six sigma tools, like DMAIC, to lead process improvements initiatives.
  • Create value stream maps and SIPOC models to promote business transformation activities.
  • Determine business value of changes and assess return on investment (ROI) of improvements.

Business Process Measurement & Management

  • Maintain an enterprise repository of BPMN process models in Signavio Process Manager.
  • Determine and document the impact of change to business processes.
  • Utilize simulation modeling to identify bottlenecks within processes.
  • Identify key performance indicators to construct appropriate performance measurements.

Relationship & Change Management

  • Develop strong partnerships with team, functional peers, sponsors, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with business partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Expertly apply change management practices and techniques at all levels of the organization.

Project Execution

  • Ensure appropriate project milestones are met to complete strategic business objectives.
  • Regularly report and update stakeholders on progress, timelines, obstacles, and challenges.

Leadership

  • Lead business process reengineering initiatives to improve quality, increase revenue, reduce costs, and effort.
  • Exhibit knowledge of business process management standards and techniques.
  • Provide recommendations based on enterprise transformation best practices.
  • Ability to confidently articulate scalable opportunities for transformational change.

What You'll Bring To Baird:

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience. and a proven track record of delivering substantial business results. Experience should cover areas of process analysis, business analysis, and project management, preferably within a diversified financial services firm.
  • BBA/BS in Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
  • Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Decision Modeling Notation (DMN).
  • Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (or higher) is preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem solving.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, monitor, and complete multiple tasks or projects, either independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building trusting relationships with business partners and their leadership team.
  • Demonstrated relationship builder; able to establish both internal and external working relationships in order to identify and implement strategies for business growth.
  • Change agent with ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with associates at all levels and in all areas of the firm.
