Job description

ELEVI is seeking a senior DDI Architect with deep network engineering expertise and handsโ€‘on experience delivering enterpriseโ€‘class DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. The role is 75% postโ€‘sales engineering, focused heavily on Infoblox implementations, migrations, upgrades, and tech refreshes, while also supporting EfficientIP, BlueCat, and TCPWave platforms. The remaining 25% involves preโ€‘sales technical support, helping drive newโ€‘business capture through demos, discovery, and solution design.

If you excel at both architecting DDI solutions and engaging with customers, this role places you at the center of ELEVI's most strategic work.

Postโ€‘Sales Engineering (75%)

  • Architect and implement Infobloxโ€‘based DDI solutions across enterprise and global environments.
  • Lead DDI migrations, including Microsoft DNS/DHCP transitions and platformโ€‘toโ€‘platform IPAM migrations (Infoblox, EfficientIP, BlueCat, TCPWave).
  • Execute system upgrades, reโ€‘architecture efforts, and tech refreshes for customer DDI environments.
  • Provide lifecycle engineering and architectural guidance โ€” not dayโ€‘toโ€‘day system administration.
  • Produce highโ€‘quality documentation, design artifacts, diagrams, and knowledgeโ€‘transfer materials.
  • Ensure successful delivery through bestโ€‘practice design, testing, validation, and cutover planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding longโ€‘term DDI strategy and modernization.

Preโ€‘Sales Technical Support (25%)

  • Deliver compelling DDI and DNS Security presentations, product overviews, and live demos.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements, challenges, and business drivers.
  • Support sales cycles with solution design, POC/POV engagements, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Map customer needs to ELEVI's DDI architecture, migration, and DNS Security offerings using valueโ€‘based framing.
  • Translate customer requirements into architectural recommendations, scopes of work, and valueโ€‘driven proposals.
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify and shape newโ€‘business opportunities.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing collateral, solution diagrams, and technical content.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of enterprise DDI engineering experience with deep expertise in DNS, DHCP, IPAM, ISC BIND, Kea DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP.
  • Strong handsโ€‘on Infoblox experience (core requirement); Infoblox certifications strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead DDI migrations, including Microsoft DNS/DHCP transitions and largeโ€‘scale platformโ€‘toโ€‘platform IPAM migrations.
  • Experience with EfficientIP, BlueCat, or TCPWave (highly desirable; training provided).
  • Solid understanding of DNS Security (DNSSEC, RPZ, threatโ€‘intel filtering).
  • Python and/or Perl scripting required, with proficiency in bash/ksh/csh, APIs, CLIs, VPN, SSH, data migration, and service integration.
  • Broad networking and systems background: Linux/Unix, routing/switching, load balancing, MS Active Directory, VoIP, UDP, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong foundation in Backup & Disaster Recovery, faultโ€‘tolerant systems, and upgrade planning.
  • Excellent communication skills โ€” confident presenting to all levels, leading whiteboard sessions, and translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Experience supporting sales cycles, POCs, demos, RFP/RFI responses, and collaborating with Account Executives, partners, and crossโ€‘functional teams.
