Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving key strategic decisions in what could become a $10T global market for personal mobility. You will structure solutions to complex problems, perform deep data-driven analytics, generate insights, & then build cross-functional consensus among the senior management team to enable focused execution.

In this role you will:
  • Co-develop and own high-visibility projects by supporting critical corporate strategy workstreams on key questions for the senior leadership team, with focus areas including market expansion analysis, competitive positioning, and long-term financial modeling.
  • Operationalize strategy with cross-functional partners, you will work collaboratively with Product, Regulatory, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure organizational alignment with company-wide objectives and growth plans.
  • Synthesize strategic insights by conducting analysis of operational and financial datasets to identify underlying trends, taking responsibility for translating raw data into high-impact strategic recommendations.
  • Optimize business operations, you will translate high-level strategic frameworks into concrete, executable operational plans while monitoring performance against key benchmarks to ensure optimal business outcomes.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or within a corporate strategy/strategy & operations function at a high-growth technology organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in hypothesis-driven problem solving, specifically in structuring and solving highly ambiguous business problems from initial framework development through to final analytical conclusion.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical proficiency in SQL and Excel, with a proven ability to synthesize large-scale datasets into actionable strategic insights for executive leadership.
  • Ability to transform complex analytical findings into cohesive, persuasive narratives and excel at using data to build a "case for change" that drives organizational decision-making through data-driven storytelling.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, making you adept at distilling complex technical findings for non-technical audiences and crafting compelling narratives for senior management.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python, R, Power BI, Databricks or other advanced data analytics tools.
  • Prior professional or project-based experience within the Ride-hail or Autonomous Vehicle, transportation, or broader mobility sectors.
  • Proven experience operating within high-growth technology environments, particularly during phases of rapid organizational scaling.

$128,000 - $154,000 a year
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
