Position Summary

The Business Process Engineer supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by supporting process improvements and workflow optimizations across EDA program operations. This role supports the transition of the program into a DoD Program of Record and aligns program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks.

Job Description

  • The Business Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes and workflows.
  • The position requires developing documentation and recommendations for operational efficiency.
  • Engineers will support transition of the program into a DoD Program of Record.
  • The role includes aligning program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field; or
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in business process engineering.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization.
  • Developing requirements traceability matrices and capability development documentation.
  • Aligning program objectives with DoD acquisition frameworks.
  • Supporting DoD Program of Record transitions.
  • Stakeholder coordination and documentation development.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization.
  • Working knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and JCIDS processes.
  • Proficiency in developing requirements traceability matrices and capability documentation.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to support program transitions and governance alignment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Lean Six Certification (Preferred, Not Required)

Clearance Requirement
