About the Role: Fragomen's Business Immigration Coordinator position will provide you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business, as well as offering training, development, and long-term growth opportunities. Providing world class client service and industry leading technology solutions, Fragomen helps our clients to navigate the complex world of global immigration to better achieve their goals.
How will you make a difference as a Business Immigration Coordinator at Fragomen?
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including organizing, sorting, and distributing mail and scanning documents sent by foreign nationals.
  • Update and manage case status, meet assigned deadlines, and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor.
  • Organize, maintain, and file legal documents and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare, collect, and organize cases for shipping process.
  • Learn procedural and processing requirement for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications (i.e., drafting and assembling non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications).
  • Respond to internal and external communications within the team.
  • Produce work with high accuracy, proactively escalating issues to supervisor.
  • Use Connect and other team data management systems or processes accurately.
  • Apply new processes and best practice improvements as directed.
  • Follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance.

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer facing or client service-oriented role, either in retail or professional services
  • A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity
  • Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate issues to supervisor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines
  • Desire to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork
